Small Update


Heyo! Just a small update today to fix some small issues and add the "W" key as an additional jump button based on player feedback. 

  • Added "W" as a jump button
  • Adjusted powerup spawn distribution (to favor the Solar Feather (extra jump) less, but always give you at least one a run)
  • Changed the text color for the "YOUR FOES HAVE BECOME STRONGER" message to look less out-of-place.
  • Adjusted stage generation so that the powerup variants of certain segments show up less often.
  • Adjusted the extra powerup platform placement to require at least one Solar Feather or Void-Step Greaves to acquire.
  • Fixed the music fadeout at the end.
  • Fixed the player being able to shoot while dead.

None of these are really major additions or changes, but they're also more than I feel comfortable making while claiming they're just bug fixes, so I'll leave the original version up as "Jam_Pure" and the new version is "Jam_Updates". Feel free to play and rate based on whichever version you feel comfortable doing so, although I do recommend the updated one! Unless there are any other bug fixes that need to be made, that will be it for the Jam version. I intend to continue working on a post-Jam version, introducing new enemies, power ups, an opening cutscene, extra ending content, secrets, music and more, so if you liked what you saw maybe give me a follow to find out when those updates come out!
